Welcome to the Liberty Christian School website. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. We look forward to having you visit our campus in the very near future.
Liberty Christian School was established in 1970 and over the last four decades it has been our privilege to provide a quality Christian education to nearly 14,000 students. We are located in the beautiful city of Huntington Beach, CA where the surf, sunsets and ocean breezes are abundant.
One of our foundational beliefs is that children are a blessing from the Lord. We simply love kids. We believe that Christian parents have the God-given responsibility to "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it". (Prov. 22:6 KJV). The Bible also teaches that when ". . . the student has been fully trained, [he] will be like [his] teacher". (Luke 6:40 NCV). It is our goal to partner with parents in the daily education and training of their children.
The Liberty Christian School course of study is distinctive. Our comprehensive educational program serves a student body ranging in age from Pre-School through High School. Each child is instructed within the framework of a caring Christian environment where Biblical and traditional values are embraced rather than disparaged.
Students are challenged academically and we are proud of their success. In fact, when Liberty Christian School students recently took the 2009 Stanford Achievement Tests (SAT 10), the average score placed our students in the top 25% in the nation. On average, greater than 90% of our graduates attend college and more than 85% are accepted to four-year colleges. Our 2009 achievement test results show that students average 1.75 years above grade level in Reading and Math Comprehension. And this is not unique to 2009. Liberty Christian School also provides numerous extra-curricular opportunities. CIF and CALOC sports, music and art classes, band, chapel, choir, handbells, praise team, drama, social activities and community service programs await. It is our goal to help the student become a well-rounded individual. We want each child to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically and emotionally.
