This is my third year teaching here at Liberty. With the exception of 2 1/2 years in
(pictured on the left). Before coming to work at Liberty as a teacher I worked for a couple of years as an archaeologist. My primary job was the excavation and processing of prehistoric human burials. The picture on the right was actually taken in
My interests are grouped into two camps. The first camp basically includes anything to do with the outdoors so long as that activity doesn't include anything with a motor (for example I enjoy kayaking but I do not enjoy power crafts). The picture at left was taken of me on 18,500' Mt

My other area of interest includes participating in the never ending dialogue going on be-tween science and theology. One of the most interesting, and most important questions I believe one could ask is, "What role should science play in the interpretation of scripture?" After 2 1/2 years of studying that question in graduate school I still don't believe that I have found a sufficient answer, but I am working on one.
